ABOUT THE CACHE

Kotora's Cache has become a really meaningful part of my life. I've been unable to work for a long time because of my disabilities, and having the shop has given me a sense of purpose that I was really missing. It's something I can build and take care of on my own terms, and it makes me feel useful, capable, and like I'm contributing something again.

It also gives me a way to connect with people when I don't always get many opportunities to do that otherwise. 💕

Packing orders is by far my FAVORITE part!!! 🎁 I want every package to feel like receiving a present. When I have the time, I do my best to match the tissue paper and packaging to the item because EVERYTHING has to match, and I put a lot of thought into the stickers and freebies too. If someone has public likes or a profile I can look at, I'll usually peek and see if I have anything that fits their interests, their profile picture, or what they ordered. I really want it to feel like I picked things for you, not like I just grabbed random extras out of a box.

A lot of what I make from the shop goes right back into packaging, supplies, stickers, and freebies. Maybe not the world's greatest business strategy lol, but making the whole experience feel special is genuinely one of the biggest reasons I enjoy doing this! :3c

The reviews and DMs people send me are one of the absolute best parts!!! :D When someone tells me their package made them happy, I never forget it. If I'm feeling down, I'll just read my reviews.

When I was a kid, my classmates voted me the "nicest" person in class, and hearing people describe me as sweet now still makes me smile. I want people to feel cared about, remembered, and seen, even if it's just through something as small as the way I packed their order.

More than anything, I want Kotora's Cache to leave people with a good memory. I hope something here brings back a piece of their childhood, reconnects them with something they used to love, or gives them that strong little rush of nostalgia that I spend so much of my own life chasing.

And when your package arrives, I hope you can tell that an actual person cared about what was inside and was excited to send it to you!!! 💕
